[ Steve savors that kiss, holds her a little tighter as if somehow willing the moment to last forever. He knows it can't - he's messing with time as it is already.

At her words, he frowns slightly in confusion. Hopeful confusion, because the we will be is something he can't help but latch on. He hasn't contemplated the possibility of her going back with him, mainly because he feels cruel even thinking about asking her to do that. She has a home here, after all. ]
